Mouth of the Columbia River South Jetty Rehabilitation

Marine Environments

This project rehabilitated approximately 3,300 linear feet of the South Jetty at the mouth of the Columbia River, a structure regularly hit by 10 to 20-foot high ocean waves. Rognlin’s rebuilt the existing structures on the south face and elevated the crest to 25+ feet, which will help protect against storm activity and lost sand shoal material, increasing the reliability of the jetty system.
